The Allen-Bradley Discrete Input module with catalog number 1769-IQ32 is part of the Compact I/O module family that is compatible for use with MicroLogix 1500 and CompactLogix controllers. This module especially features high density input channels as it has Thirty-Two (32) 24VDC input channels supporting both sinking and sourcing wiring configuration.
This module has a power supply distance rating of Eight (8) modules. This means that the module must not be installed more than Eight (8) modules away from the power supply. As some CompactLogix controllers support installation of more than Eight (8) Compact I/O modules, applicable power supply unit must be installed to meet the power supply requirement of the 1769-HSC and other Compact I/O modules. The 1769-HSC follows the installation method of the existing CompactLogix rack. When installed in a CompactLogix I/O expansion bank, the same power supply distance rating must be observe.
This module has an operating temperature range of 0°C to +60°C (32°F to +140°F) and storage temperature of -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F) with operating humidity of 0°C to +60°C (32°F to +140°F) and operating altitude of 2000 meters (6561 feet).
