Product Description
The 2094-BM05-S is an Allen-Bradley axis-module that is part of the Kinetix 6000 Multi-Axis Drive Servo system. This axis module is a 400V class Axis Module featuring a continuous current (rms) of 34.6 Amperes and continuous current (sine) 0-pk of 48.9 Amperes. This axis module has a rated efficiency of 98%. It has a short-circuit current of 200,000 A (rms) symmetrical.
The 2094-BM05-S has a built-in safety feature such as Performance Level (PLe) and Safety Integrated Level (SIL) 3 rated Safe Torque-Off functionality. This functionality is certified by ISO 13849-1. This safety feature prevent immediate restarting of the drive when the safety circuit is activated. An external relay must be installed to enable the drive to meet EN954-1, Category 3 standard.
With direct integration, the 2094-BM05-S parameters may be accessed and dynamic drive configuration may be sent and received to the servo drive.
The 2094-BM05-S ‘has a continuous power output of 22.0kW. It supports bandwidth frequencies of 500 Hz for Velocity loop and 1300 Hz for Current loop. It has a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) frequency of 4 kHz and nominal input voltage of 650 VDC. Depending on the drive series, the peak current (rms) values varies. Series A drives are rated 51.9 Amperes while series B and C drives are rated for 69.2 Amperes. Similarly, peak current (0-pk) values are 73.4 Amperes for Series A and 97.9 Amperes for Series B and C drives, respectively.
The Allen-Bradley 2094-BM05-S has a double wide slot usage and comes with a 22.0 kW continuous power output, 460 Volts voltage rating, and 49 Amps INV continuous current (RMS). It seamlessly integrates into the Logix platform for multi-axis integrated motion. And up to three 2094-BM05-S drives can be mounted on each 8-axis power rail.
Safety features are an essential component of the 2094-BM05-S AM Drive protecting both equipment and operator. The safety motion control optimizes machine operating efficiencies while minimizing downtime, and reducing production waste. The safe torque-off functionality, with a response time of less than 25 milliseconds, disables a drive output by removing motor torque instead of shutting down the entire machine. Unlike other Kinetix 6000 Enhanced Peak Performance Series modules, the 2094-BM05-S can have up to 200% of continuous inverter current. The standard 150% peak current is enabled by default.
