Both terms refer to an industrial device with the capability of displaying an accurate process mimic, providing real-time monitoring and control points of the process.

The 2711P-T12C4D2 main components include a display screen, touch input interface and communication ports. These components work simultaneously to implement the device’ intended functions. Specifically, the display screen is a 12.1-inch, colored display screen with resolution of 800 x 600 pixels with display area of 246 x 184 mm (9.7 x 7.2 in.). the display screen has a installed backlight with luminance of 300 cd/m2 Nits. Ethernet port is used mainly for multi-node communication, RS232 is used for point-to-point, short distance communication supporting DF1 and DH485 system protocols while the USB interface is used for insertion of external peripherals such as USB, keyboard and removable drives. Additionally, this operator terminal also supports 3rd party, non-Allen-Bradley devices.
