This user’s manual describes the specifications, connection, and programming of the AJ51T64/A1SJ51T64 MELSEC-I/O LINK Remote l/O SystemMaster Module (hereafter called the “master module”).

MELSEC-I/O LINK is an easily programmable remote l/O system which hassimple wiring and does not require troublesome parameter settings.
Up to 128 I/O points can be controlled1When used with an 8-point/16-point I/0 unit (AJ55TB32-8[ ][ ]AJ55TB32-16[ ][ ]), a single master module can control a maximum of128 points (input: 64 points,output: 64 points).
9Flexible connectionBus connection allows T-junctions and makes terminal resistors unnec-essary, so connection is flexible.
3Prevention of communication system malfunctionsBus connection prevents the entire system from going down simplybecause one station is down.
