GE / Bently Nevada 3500/15系列电源是半高模块，必须安装在机架左侧专门设计的插槽中。3500机架可以包含一个或两个电源(交流和/或直流的任意组合)，任一电源都可以为整个机架供电。如果安装了备用电源，备用电源将作为主电源的备用电源。当两个电源安装在一个机架中时，下部插槽中的电源充当主电源，上部插槽中的电源充当备用电源。只要安装了第二个电源，移除或插入任一电源模块都不会中断机架的运行。
