The IS200CABPG1A is the control component backplane PCB for AG’s innovative series of drives.

The IS200CABPG1A, also known as the CABP Board, is a replacement for the innovative series of carrier backplanes. The card is usually used as an interface unit. It features card slots that can be inserted into other motherboards. These boards can then interact and interface with external signals. These external signals include signals from diagnostic tools, user interface keyboards, panel meters, ISBus ports, or input signals from the power supply. CABP is typically mounted on the innovative series of bracket assemblies. Racks sold separately have mounting points for other PCBS to plug into CABP.

The IS200CABPG1A’s plateless connections are carefully designed so that the wrong connector is not accidentally inserted. The board connection design on CABP is similar, so each card slot is keyed individually for a particular board. Knowing where each board is on the PCB is crucial because trying to force the card into the wrong slot can damage the board and card slot. There are nine connections, equivalent to five slots on the board. Slot 1 is assigned to a BAIA board. Slot 2 is assigned to the DSPX PCB. Slot 3 is assigned to the ACL_ board or GBIA/PBIA module. Slot 4 is assigned to a BIC card. Slot 5 is assigned to a BPI_ or FOSA card. There are two plug-in connections labeled E2 and E1 that lead to GND. The puncture connection of E4 and E3 is for CCOM. J1-12 connections are used for external interfaces, while J13-J21 connections are card slots.
