Description
The 1900/65A General Purpose Equipment Monitor isdesigned to continuously monitor and protect equipment thatis used in a variety of applications and industries. Themonitor’s low cost makes it an ideal solution for general.purpose machines and processes that can benefit fromcontinuous monitoring and protection.
Inputs
The 1900/65A provides four transducer inputs and fourtemperature inputs. Software can configure each transducerinput to support 2- and 3-wire accelerometers, velocitysensors or proximity sensors. Each temperature input supportsType E, 」, K, and T thermocouples, and 2- or 3-wire RTDs.
Outputs
The 1900/65A provides six relay outputs, four 4-20 mArecorder outputs, and a dedicated buffered output. The usercan use the 1900 Configuration software to configure the relaycontacts to open or close according to the Ok, Alert andDanger statuses of any channel or combination of channels,and to provide data from any variable from any channel on anyrecorder output. The dedicated buffer output can provide thesignal for each transducer input.
A Modbus Gateway option allows the monitor to providestatic variables, statuses, event list, time and date informationdirectly to any Modbus client, including Distributed ControlSystems (DCSs),Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition(SCADA) systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLcs), orSystem 1 software.The monitor uses an internal counter and aModbus client/master time reference to generate time anddate information, Users can upgrade monitors without theModbus Gateway by ordering the 1900/01 communicationsUpgrade (see the Ordering Information section).
