The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 2711P-RSACDIN DIN-rail power supply module is made for the Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 700 to 1500 series terminals. It is used for providing 24 Volts DC power to these PanelView terminals. The 2711P-RSACDIN power supply module comes with a compact design that makes it easy to mount on a DIN rail. The dimensions of the power supply module are 87 x 68 x 69 millimeters. The 2711P-RSACDIN DIN-rail power supply module has a power indicator LED that illuminates in green when the output voltage level is greater than 20.4 Volts DC. This indicator LED remains off if no power is applied to the power supply module, or if the output voltage exceeds 35 Volts DC or the output current rating is above 3 Amps.

The 2711P-RSACDIN power supply module is an AC to DC converter power supply that provides sufficient power to the PanelView operator interface terminal for it to operate. It has a 120/230 Volts AC ground terminal, terminals for the common and power connections to the input side, and 24 Volts DC positive and common terminals for the output side. The terminals of the module accept a maximum of 12 gauge solid or stranded copper wire rated at 75 degrees Celsius. When making connections, make sure to give the screw terminals a torque of 5.7 pounds on an inch. The AC power must be connected to the left side of the module. The right side connectors must be connected to the 24 Volts DC terminals on the PanelView Plus interface terminal. The 2711P-RSACDIN power supply module provides overvoltage protection and overcurrent protection.  It can be mounted horizontally on a 35 x 7.5 millimeter DIN rail. It can also mount on a wall or a panel with a 1794-NM1 panel mounting kit. This module comes with an open style enclosure. It must be installed in a suitable enclosure.
