Due to the limited Ethernet ports available on the host, however, I wanted to use the USB A port on the sbRIO-9607 to deploy the LabVIEW program. Is that possible? If so, how to operate?
There are two ways to connect the sbRIO-9607 to the host PC via USB.
Implement USB device port on custom RMC board
Since USB is not included in the standard RMC (NI-9694), this will require you to design your own RMC.

Connect the USB port on the sbRIO-9607 to the USB A port on the Host PC using a USB host-to-host Cable (PN: 140254-02)
This will create a USB-ENET bridge to connect sbRIO as if it were connected via Ethernet.
There should be no major changes to the way sbRIO is programmed in LabVIEW.
Note: This approach is simpler than implementing a custom RMC board, but it does not work in every case. How host-to-host communication is implemented will vary from computer to computer, meaning that compatibility cannot be determined in advance.
Additional information
There are active components in the USB host-to-host cable that bridge the USB host port on the PC and the USB host port on the sbRIO. If the host-to-host cable is compatible with your system, the SBRIO-9607 will be recognized as a live target by the host PC, and you will be able to connect to the sbRIO as if there were a USB device port.
A non-NI USB adapter is generally not compatible, as the NI USB host-to-host cable will specifically contain driver support for Linux RT.
RMC can also be customized to add a USB host port, which can be used to connect USB 3.0 cameras.
