SCANLAB GmbH has been developing and producing scanning galvanometers and scanning solutions since its founding in 1990. SCANLAB products transform lasers into precise, highly dynamic and flexible tools that provide a solid foundation for a wide range of processing tasks.

We have around 500 highly qualified employees who are motivated, hard-working and have extensive experience in marketing and application. Headquartered in Germany, SCANLAB now produces and sells more than 40,000 scanning solutions annually worldwide. As a market leader, we have the largest installed capacity in the world.

For the global market

SCANLAB’s main R&D and production site is located in Puheim, Germany (near Munich).

The company’s U.S. operations are handled by SCANLAB USA, Inc., located in St. Charles, Illinois (near Chicago).

SCANLAB’s associate company Blackbird Robotersysteme focuses on the field of robot-assisted laser welding and is headquartered in Garching, Germany. International sales and service are supported by Blackbird Robotics China (Shanghai) and the US sales team.

Our newly established sister company HOLO/OR (Nestzona, Israel) focuses on diffractive optical components for industrial applications.
